Would you ever consider allowing YOUR dad to be in the delivery room when giving birth?

I wish daddy would have ask. I am a daddy's girl and would have love having his support but dad is afraid of hospitals so he came to see us once we were home.

No, but I didn't allow anyone but DH. My dad visited me very early on in labor with my first. I was just sitting in the bed, nothing really going on and he kept having to leave. I finally sent DH and him down to get themselves lunch just to get him out of the room. He said he just can't stand to see his kids in a hospital bed, it just upsets him. Now that I'm a parent, I totally get that.

My husband, dad, mom, and very best friend were in the room and I would not change a thing. I am very close with both of my parents and I wanted them in there. My dad still talks about how amazing the birth process was.

I would if he wanted to be there, but I don't even know if he was in the room when I was delivered. That was almost 40 years ago.

If he wanted to be, yes. He wouldn't though.
