when i got pregnant this last time i was on orthocyclyn(sp), and i had a 6 month supply....well i still have 4 months of it left, and i just had my dd 2 1/2 weeks left, and i was wondering if i could start takening it again. Im not breastfeeding, and we are going to use condoms with it, i just want that extra protection. Our ds and dd are only 11 months apart, and i dont want to repeat that. So can i start taking it? Can i start now or do i need to wait the 6 weeks? Im still bleeding pp does that matter? Thanks in advance

If you got pregnant on that type, why would you want to use it again?
Have you considered more reliable birth control like the IUD or implanon?

we are going to use condoms to, and i want to get the iud, but when i got my last pap they found cancerous cells, so i have to get another pap and see what it says before we can get it. I was supposed to have a bio done on my cervix, but they didnt want to do it while i was pregnant. So it will be a few months before i can get it. I just thought that if we used condoms with the birth control then it might work this time.

Yikes, good luck with all that! Yes, condoms with the BC should definitely help.
