10 month old wants to be carried all the time"

DD gets fussy and cries whenever I put her down! I can't carry her all the time....and it's getting harder now because I am pregnant and growing! Any tips on how to get her to be a little more independent? Or is this just a phase that I'm going to have to wait out?

Try sitting with her on the floor and getting her playing wth something.  To where she's not "on you" and do this as often as you can for longer stints of time,  Tell her Mommy's going to be right back, go get water or something but always come back.  she'll start to see you will come back and continue to play without you when you do need to do things.  Then you can transition to longer times like her playing on the kitchen floor or at the table during dishes, ect.

Honestly it depends on the kid. My oldest son's was short lived but my second was a cling-on until 18 months, he only wanted me. My 15.5 month old has moments of intense clingyness but other times I don't exist. I'm convinced to him I'm a giant boob that walks lol!
