how much "me" time do you get?

Posted by   + Show Post

how much "me" time do you get to yourself on a daily basis? or possibly weekly? my "me" time is every night after dh and dd are in bed. I spend a few hours on the computer until I get tired and go to bed. I'm a sahm and so I don't get much time away from dd, which isn't a bad thing because I love what I do, but we all need a little time alone, kwim?

I got a few hours after I get the kids to bed, but is it me time if I spend it cleaning?

What's that? Lol. Nap time is for cleaning, after ds is in bed I go to bed myself. Some weekends after ds goes down for his nap df will tell me to go lay down for a bit too. Does that count?

Getting ready for work, work and on my way home if you want to count that as "me" time.

I get about 1/2-1 hr of time after dd goes down at 8pm. Sometimes I take a bath & read or watch one of my fav shows on my cell since dh likes completely diff shows than me lol

Quoting Nynnie:

Not very much. Maybe 30 mins a day when Will is at work and Wayne is taking a nap, but then I take a nap with him

Depends on how early I want to get up or how late I want to stay up.......hahahahaha!  Usually about 30min in the mornings and about an hour in the evenings.  But if hubby is off then the evenings we spend together.  Mornings I ALWAYS get up before the house wakes b/c I like to have my coffee and bfast and shower and get things going before things get chaotic :)
