Mine were elated! My SO & I waited a LONG time before we had our first. My mom was more than ready for another grandchild. :)

My parents were excited, my father inlaw said "I can't wait to start going down the baby aisle" and my MIL.. well, she wasn't happy.

Mom was super happy; dad was to surprise at first. I guess he still sees me as his little girl so me having sex was beyond his thoughts. lol

our first baby-I was 19, they took a deep breath.  Dad told us to get married right away.  Mom was shocked.  In laws were thrilled.  The other babies, everyone was happy and surprised.  Mom was only really happy when she found out #3 was going to be a girl-the first girl on that side in 20 yrs.

My Dad was upset, my step mom was thrilled, and my mom was really happy for me. I was 19 at the time, but I had an apartment and a great job and a car. I had my life together from a pretty young age (16) so I felt I was ready. We didn't plan it, it just happened. My SO is amazing, we've been together a long time and he was so supportive during the pregnancy and now. My dad came around eventually :)
