I am planning on having two seperate parties for my baby girl for her first birthday. My husband has a ton of family here but I don't want my friends and their babies to feel excluded. I would like to have the actual "Cake Smash" session with the family because I didn't want to do two smash sessions since after doing it once she will probably just be like "Eh.. whatever" with the second. lol.
I saw a cute idea on pinterest for a "Milk & Cookies" party for my friends instead but does anyone have any other cute ideas for the little get together of friends? I'm wanting to do both parties cute but inexpensive.
It's going to be here before I know it! (March 2nd... yikes!)
Maybe for the birthday party with your friends just do some finger foods because that is usually pretty cheap.
When my youngest turned 1, his birthday was on a Friday and the party was Saturday. We did a cake for him with just our immediate family and then he had his cake at the party and I thought it actually worked better bc he wasn't so hessitant the 2nd time. He got more into it and faster.
