Is it safe to go to a chiropractor while pregnant? I have heard mixed answers.

Yes! Find someone who is trained in the Webster Technique and you will be in good hands. My provider sent me to an osteopath because my lower back kept seizing up. They do the same thing.

I used chiro for my second ds and it worked wonders.
Just make sure they know their stuff and it'll be very safe.

It is safe if:

1.  The chiropracter is aware you are pregnant.
2.  The chiropracter has worked with or has been taught how to safely practice on a pregnant woman.

Flat out ask your chiropracter how much experience s/he has with pregnant women and how well educated they are on how to handle the complications of pregnancy within their practice.

One of the main risks is that the joints of a pregnant woman are looser than the average person.  Certain techniques and pressures could damage those joints given how loose they are.

Yes and find one that is trained in the Webster Technique. I started going when I was 10 weeks with my first and have not stopped going since then. I have have had three babies and went every time.

Absolutely! Just make sure they are aware that you are pregnant and are properly trained on how to safely deal with it. Also try and find one who is trained in the Webster Technique.
