If you ff or pump, let him feed the baby. It's a great way to bond. If you ebf, another way to bond is skin to skin. Have him take his shirt off and strip the baby down to his/her diaper and have him hold the baby on his chest. The baby will become familiar with his heartbeat, his scent, and the warmth of his skin.

What do you mean by get? Is he unwilling or does he not know what to do? My husband was very nervous for the first month or so. The only way he would hold the baby was if he was sitting down and the baby was in a god mood.

Not sure, as my hubby was involved from the beginning. I had an emergency c-section, so he changed diapers, burped him, etc. He has always made sure to be involved and let me know when he felt I was taking over too much.

Give him certain responsibilities like bath or every Saturday morning, etc. my husband bonded by bringing him to day care every day

Take turns with normal responsibilities such as baths, diaper changes, etc. As well as with other fun things; reading, naps...

My boyfriend didn't really interact with her much until she started smiling around 8 weeks.  He just didn't know what to do with her.  Now she smiles and laughs at 4 months and he loves playing with her.  He read her stories when I was pregnant with her, but I'm not sure if he'd do it now.  And he still won't give her a bath, he's too afraid.

There's no way you can get him to interact if he doesn't want to though.

Lol mine tries to play video games with her, but she's too wiggly now.
