My best friend has offered to watch dd (3 months old) for an evening 6pm-midnight or whenever I pick her up, so that I can go out with the boyfriend (I'm waiting awhile until I make introductions) She asked if I wanted to keep her there overnight! I'm not sure that I'm ready to go overnight without my baby. But I'm wondering if I ever will be? She sleeps through the night, but I still spend every day with her.

When did your LO spend their first night away from you?

8 1/2 months old with his grandparents. Actually, it was his birthday gift to his grandma to get to sleep over at her house. The house was quiet without him. I was very glad to see him the next day.

My in laws were asking for her to stay overnight very early on, but I was not comfortable with it until after DD's first birthday.

Mine is almost 14 months and still hasn't. But that's because I work all week and he goes to a sitter. So I am not about to give up the time i DO get with him. My hubby and I both aren't ready anyway.

My ods was 9 years old when he first spent the night away when I had his little brother.
Yds was 15 months since his father and I got divorced.
My dd is 19 months and still hasn't spent the night away, and I have no idea when she will either as she still nurses at night.
