it is more of a texture issue. When you go from a completely liquid diet to now some weird new flavor, color and texture, it can be jarring to a baby. Try things that are similar in color and texture such as yogurt and pureed bananas, butternut squash, apple/banana, mashed potatoes, etc. You want to gradually warm them up to all of this, so it is a slow process, often times recommending one type a food for the week, to check for food allergies as well. It is a SLOW process. They dont go right to table foods. Also think about adding some liquid vitamins, such as Polyvisol with iron, to make up for any lack in her diet. Enfagrow also offers a formula for older kids that is similar tasting to milk but has added vitamins. I mix the liquid vitamins to my daughter's milk and she is none the wiser.
Did you check for teeth? She could just be teething and it hurts to chew right now
