EBF baby--green "slimy" poo

I'm a FTM so I don't want to call his pedi and overreact for nothing....

my 5 week old is EBF and his poo is usually "mustard and sesemy seeds" as his pedi calls it. his last 2 dipers have been green in color and it seems "slimy" almost.

no fever, he's still eating and peeing fine, not fussy. no formula or diet change for me.

ideas?

This!
Block feeding should clear it right up.

I dont think so. I believe that the poop has to be foamy before this in an issue

Not always. On days that I don't block feed as strictly as I normally do, the next day I can tell with DS2. He has the slimy green poop. If it is foamy and explosive, then yeah. He is getting large volumes of foremilk (like my first child). It doesn't take much to get that green excess to the green going.

Are you breastfeeding? I went through the same problem with my baby.  This is the best article ever and foremilk and hindsmilk was my problem.  You might find it helpful:  http://www.fefisbaby.com/blog/resource-center/breastfeeding-and-baby-fussiness/
