There have seen a lot of posts about diapers and what the best brands are, but I'm curious about wipes. I never knew how many types/options there were! As a first time mom of a 3 month old, I'm still experimenting with all the different brands and types to see what works best for me. How did/do you Mamas pick your favorite wipes?

We only get the sensitive wipes. My kids have extremely sensitive skin!

That's a kick ass deal

We buy the big box of Huggies wipes from Costco. When they're on sale you get 1,120 wipes for $19

I bought a bunch of cheep baby washcloths and use a squirt bottle with just some plain water in it. We use cloth diapers as well, so they just go in the washer with the diapers.

Welcome! I have a recipe for boogie wipes too, but I haven't tried them yet, I'm sure I'll be posting about them once I do!

Quoting KRYSTALK1013:

I'm gonna have to try this! Thanks for the info!

Quoting leanntx:

Cut a roll of paper towels in half (Bounty or Viva work best), take out the cardboard and put them in tupperware. Mix 2 cups water, 3 tbsp baby oil, and 1 tbsp baby wash in a bowl then pour over the towels and let soak for 24 hours. They're awesome!

Quoting KRYSTALK1013:

What do you use to make them?

Quoting leanntx:

I make my own. They work great, and my ds has yet to get any kind of rash.

I mostly use either the kirkland brand (costco) or if I have the huggies wipe cupon for costco I will get those.  If I don't feel like going to costco then I use parents choice

I buy Pampers because I like the plastic case they're in, they dispense well, so buy refills for the two cases I have.  I paid $15 for 7 refills, I didn't really look at the type but ended up getting the natural kind.  My daugher doesn't have sensitive skin at all, or allergies.
