Is this normal for a one month old? Not pooping so frequently suddenly?
My daughter had previously been pooping everyday, many times a day. Now over the past few days she has been grunting very hard at times in what sounds like an attempt to poop and nothing comes out. She has not yet had a bowel movement today, and yesterday/the day before she only had one or two, VERY large onee is s. Is this normal or is she perhaps constipated somehow? (She is EBF.)

Very normal. And by 6 weeks a lot of breastfed babies can go many days in between. Breast milk is the perfect food for them so there is little waste.
EBF babies sometime between a month and 2 months old will transition to going much less frequently. As colostrum leaves your milk between weeks 4 and 6 their bowels slow down (colostrum is a stimulant laxative), some kids may still go several times a day and some may not go for upwards of a week. Unless the poop is "rabbit pellets" then it's nothing to worry about. Constipation is more than simply not going, but not going combined with hard, dry, difficult to pass stools...if your baby is nursing well and not being supplemented with formula or any outside foods then it's highly unlikely your baby could be constipated.
I agree with the other ladies sounds normal. scary yes but normal
Thank you! I had a feeling but it's better to hear it from others with knowledge and experience. :)
