I switched my son at 11.5 months when we weaned from formula to milk. It took us less than a week. I offered mlk in a sippy cup and formula in a bottle. Milk tastes better than formula so if he wanted it he had to drink it from his cup other wise he got formula in a bottle.

I nures but I would think it would a lot like weening. You just keep offering a sippy cup and giving other snacks instead of the bottle. Just get down to one bottle at night time if he takes one then. Slowly reducing the amount he gets. Then after a little while take it completely away.

You slowly cut back on day bottles and replace one with a sippy cup that baby is old enough to manage. By the time that baby is one they should be off the bottle completely.

we took our dd off the bottle just after her first birthday. we tried handled sippys but she didn't care for those so we tried straw sippys and that did the trick

Take it away. Replace with a sippy. Don't give it back.
