I have a 16month old and a 5 month old. Can anyone recommend an affordable, durable and preferably not bulky double stroller?

well, the joovy caboose is a sit n stand, the yellow color is $109 on Amazon and you can buy full seats for $70 to put on the back instead of just the bench to sit on

otherwise, I didn't mind my graco duoglider at all, I hated my sils babytrend sit n stand with the two seats, it was never easy to push and she had all sorts of things break on it right away...

what kind of budget are you talking?

A jogging one. They are easier to push and lighter weight than sit and stands. They do fold kinda flat so if you have a large trunk or van there's no issue taking it here and there.

Joovy is affordable and they seem quite durable.

I have an Instep Safari double jogger and I LOVE it.
It fits thru doorways. It's a smooth comfy ride. My kids love it

dont get a side by side one!!
we got an umbrella-like side by side double stroller and had hella hard time getting into the stores. Most doors are EXACTLY the same width. UGH!!
We havnt gotten a different one just got rid of that one.
I want one where the kid can stand or sit on the back part while someone else is strapped in.

I reccomend the Graco ones........

I have the Roomfor2.  So, if your 16mos old can sit/walk properly then its a GREAT one!

And I do have to say, if I were having another I'd get the ready2grow, but I really like the way the joovy pushes.

and I agree with whoever said don't do the side by side...here, even if you can get in the door, many times it's a PITA to navigate department stores with different shaped racks near one another.

I was looking at that one! I didn't want to go through the hassle of ordering it and having to send it back. Some of the reviews were saying they don't think it will last them long. How old are your kids if you don't mind me asking?
