So my kids have slept in bed with me from day one now they are 1 and 2 and we are in a big enough house that they can have there own rooms. Its been a week now and they have been sleeping in a room together in there own bed. My question is how long do you think it will be until I can separate them into there own rooms?

1 mom liked this
whenever you feel they are ready. My sister twins were together from day one. For christmas (2.5yo) they got their own rooms. They were discussed since their 2nd birthday so they were very excited about it. They got to pick out their own theme... Blankets... Paint color... Etc. (and they were asked almost weekly at the store which comforter set/theme they wanted... and then the theme they picked most was the one used).

yep. Some kids enjoy the extra company while others do not. As for girl-boy sharing rooms, Im not a major fan but definitely by the time they start getting curious about their different parts.

Even if we had enough bedrooms, I wouldn't separate my boys until they asked for it. Make one "sleeping room" and one "playing room" and go with it!

Hmm im not sure. I like the idea of little kids getting to stay together for a while. Maybe until 5-6? I wouldnt be in a rush to separate.

I would say anytime. You won't know how they do until you try.
