Glasses for Baby!

Hello. My 17 month old daughter wears glasses and we're having a really hard time getting her to leave them alone and on. We're on frames #2 and need a new pair again. They are wire rimmed glasses that the optical center at the eye specialist set her up with.

I asked for the rubber looking ones with the strap that goes around the back of the head, but they didn't carry those. Does anyone know where I can find these glasses (example, Mariah Carey's daughter wears a pair).

I think this would be the best type of glasses for someone her age to wear. But I haven't been able to find them yet! Looking for a good deal too, because I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that might not work.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how to help her keep them on would be a great help!

Thank You

I would go to a different eye dr. My dd will be wearing glasses also after her surgery next week and she heals. She's 15 months. Or maybe try going online

That's what I was going to do. I just know it seems like there are "hidden" places that others have found that you can't find online! Or can't find easily!

I would think the the doctors would have that as an option for someone her age. In sorry I don't know where to find them.

I'm not sure. My dd started wearing glasses at 18 months and we got hers from WalMart. They had little ones where the ear pieces curved down around her ears. She liked being like daddy though so she kep them on too. You could try http://www.zennioptical.com/ I haven't looked to see if they have glasses small enough for that age but we get our dds (now 4.5) from there. :-)

Oh! We also found that the twisty frames worked best when she was younger.
