Not a thick one but a nice baby size sort one. DD loves hers and I sneak it away she falls asleep but when is she in the clear to sleep with it all night?
She's 6 months now and can move theblanker around pretty good.

I usually put a blanket with baby through the newborn stage. Then take it away once they start moving around more. Not sure exactly when I'll give it back. With my first I coslept. I'm trying really hard not to this time.

We've used a blanket since he was about 5 months old. Before then we lived in so fla and had no need for one. Now he's in our bed 80% of the time so he uses a pillow and a blanket.

I've always used blankets, with my 7yo, my 18 month old twins and I will with Ds when he is born.

I always kept a blanket in the crib with my kids since day 1, I would just make sure it was large enough that I could tuck it into the sides of the mattress so it couldn't suffocate them...I left it loose in the crib once they were able to roll over and move from belly to back and vice versa and were able to turn their head and everything.
