Bump! I don't have experience with infant baptism.

KEEP IT SIMPLE!  We are actually getting both our daughters baptized on Easter Sunday.  We are just doing a small dinner with my hubby's parents and the godparents.  In our community some people throw and all out party, rent a hall with a caterer and get a DJ.

Our theme was just baptism. We kept things in white and soft pink and had crosses and such on the cake.

We just went to lunch with the in-laws. We don't have a lot of family near us, so there was no need to do anything fancy.

I absolutely loved the gift the church gave him. It was a quilt aquare with a blue cross. It had 5 knots tied inside the square. For each knot, a special prayer was said for him.
