Advice Needed: Help! My baby won't go back to sleep!

My 11 month old daughter sleeps
from @ 7:30pm til @ 2 or 4 am. She
takes a bottle and then she's up for @
2-2.5 hours then sleeps for another
hour or two then she's up for the day.
How do I get her to go back to sleep
faster?? She has no problem falling
asleep at bedtime or naptime.
Thanks!

I would try puttin her to bed a little later and see what happens. Also I'm told they shouldn't need a bottle in the night at that age. My son is only 6.5 months so I'm not sure. He did that sometimes when he was really little, but that was only because he had his days and nights confused. Sorry I'm not more help.

Just awake, until I put her down and leave the room, then after about 5 minutes she starts yelling and crying like I've left her there all day or something. I've tried giving her her gloworm toy that plays soothing music to play with, she's dry, fed, cuddled, and I stay home with her all day so she gets attention from me all day. She is teething so I also do ibuprofen, teething tablets and orajel but nothing is working. It's almost exactly 2 hours every time, then she all of a sudden fall asleep.

How long does she play? Do you leave her there? Does she fall back asleep on her own? I feel like I'm supposed to do something, maybe I'm doing too much? Ugh I love her but it's driving me crazy and I'm exhausted. She also pulls my hair at the back of my neck and as gently as I try to move her hand she fights me on that too. It's like she gets all hyper about it.

Ds is an early riser. We changed his bedtime from 630/7 to 8pm. It helped a little.

I would try changing her bedtime. If this is a consistent thing, she may not need as much sleep and is ready to go for the day at 4. If you move her bedtime back, you may be able to get her to sleep until 6. Not all babies need tons of sleep. One of mine doesn't sleep much and is an early riser as well. I pushed back his bedtime to accommodate his natural sleep rhythm and it has worked quite well for us.
