So, we took our DD to her well check today where she got her shots (while sick.. Never again!!!) anywho, we were talking about her sleeping arrangements. She still sleeps in bed with me (I was a lazy first time BF momma, and didn't have much help from DF) and he laughed and said I should start transitioning now because its going to be hard. Said we should devote an entire week to basically being miserable. He said establish some kind of routine at night (bath, books, hugs, bed) and then put her in her crib. He said she'll cry, and she may do so for a while, just have to let her cry. He said she'll probably scream and do everything she can to get our attention, and if we go in than were teaching her that if she fusses like that she'll eventually get her way. Said something about she can cry for two hours or so the first few nights, but as long as she's ok (fed, changed, no pain etc) than to just let her do it.
