No, just the same stuff I've always given her. It's really weird.

This may sound stupid, but is she really gagging or faking it? My oldest was a real faker when she wanted to play instead of eat. If she's truly gagging on it, why don't you just stop giving it to her?

Well she needs to eat. So I try to remain persistent. But she may very well be faking it. Haha

Give her real food and let her feed herself. :)

melody has days where she'll gag and be super dramatic about eating (10 months old) so i just don't feed her solids/table foods that day. it isn't necessary at 8.5 months old, just give her a boob or bottles for the day

She doesn't need baby food. Don't push it... Just offer your table food for her to feed herself.

I get worried about that. I give her gerber cheese puffs (her fav) and little bites of stuff. But she JUST got her first tooth and I don't want her to choke :\. What kind of table food do you ladies suggest?

Just take a break from foods--they aren't necessary yet.  Is she having any issues with congestion or anything like that?

If you feed table foods make sure they are really easy for her to mash.
