See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
DD started out breastfed then the pedi. suggested switching to enfamil newborn formula, then eventually similac sensitive. Then my daughter stopped screaming, choking and spitting up as much once on the sensitive formula, but now has green diahhrea and a lil blood in her stools. So i took her into the doctor again and they told me to switch her to similac alimentum. She is on that formula as of this morning and is absolutely miserable...she is screaming, refusing to eat it, spitting up what she does eat and all around snubbing her nose at the bottle and shes only 4 weeks old.
The pediatricians office had me get a stool sample for them to run, so should i put her back on the sensitive since she was eating and handling that so well until i get lab results back?
She was gaining weight on that...She was 7.10 when born and was 10.11 on thursday when i took her to the doctor and was in good spirits and nice and alert and not cranky until i started her on this new stuff.
Edit:If i start working on breastfeeding again..The pediatrician has had me putting very little cereal her formula for her reflux, how do i handle that with breastfeeding?
