My DD is clingy when she's tired or being shy.

Nope she likes to be put down and scoot exploring lol only time she is clingy is when she has a stuffy nose for me to clean lol or a pamper

Omg ridiculously clingy! It's actually a problem. She won't even let family hold her.

4 moms liked this

She's a baby who loves her mama :) I would be worried if she wasn't 'clingy'.

She will smile and laugh, but she prefers me to hold her. The only other person she will let hold her is my best friend.

My youngest can be. I call him my little cling-on:-) When I come out of the bathroom or something he will wrap himself around my legs.

yes, but he's less than 6 weeks old, so its pretty much par for the course

Same with my DS.DD was not clingy, even as a newborn. She only gets clingy if she is tired, sick or cranky.

Nowhere near as bad as my first one was.  Others might say that DD2 is clingy but to me she's normal.  DD1 was the really clingy baby.
