My 1 yr old has woke up the past 4 nights screaming about 30 minutes after i put her in her crib. I try many times to put her down but she wakes up screaming eveytime. She will not sleep unless i hold her. Ive tried crying it out but i hate it and give in. Any ideas of what may be going on?

She has been teething but i dont feel like this is what is causing her to wake up and scream. she is overall a pretty happy baby and doesnt cry often. she goes for shots tomorrow so ill ask about ears. Thank you, Didnt think about that.

Teething or night terrors. My guess would be teething. DD did this at 1 too!

Thanks for the suggestions. She went for shots today and her doctor said its probably separation anxiety. I don't think it is and her ears were good. I will read up on the night terrors. She has a few teeth coming in but i didn't realize it could cause her to wake up from a sound sleep.

Teething or an ear infection would be my first guess.
