Question about birth control

I have a quick question about birth control (oral).

do any of you know if after taking the full 28 pills if that stops you from ovulating after that period or does it stop you from ovulating before your next period? This may be a stupid question, I just wasn't 100% sure.

are you asking when you could be sure that the pills have adjusted to your body to prevent ovulation?

That period which is why you must take ot so religiously.

I read that you should give yourself 1-3 months for your body to adjust to the synthetic hormones which prevent your estrogen to peak causing ovulation. Until then you could use a back up method of BC in addition to the pills.

Just asking out of curiosity when I may ovulate next, after stopping birth control (by choice).

If you stop birth control it can take anywhere from 1 months to several months to ovulate...that seems to be what you are getting at.  It will vary when ovulation will resume and pregnancy won't occur until ovulation begins again.
