My oldest is in a high back booster right now and my youngest is still in his infant seat but when we do switch him over to a convertable seat we will keep him rear facing as long as possblie.

This article is from 2011, so really not too "new".

My dd is 25 months and is still rf and will be until she reaches 40 lbs. She's only 27 lbs now.

We follow best practice, physics trumps the "law". My almost 5 yr old was rf til 3.5yrs old. DD2 I plan to go til 4/5. They will also harness til 7 and booster til 11/12.

yeah, this is a couple years old now, my middle rear faced to 3.5 and my youngest is 2.5 and still rear facing, mine never make the weight limit ( most don't actually), they always outgrow seats by seats by height first.

My 11 month old is still rear facing and will stay that way until he is probably 3, my almost 3 year old will be changed to forward facing within the next 2 weeks. My 5 year old is still in a 5point harness, 7 year old is in a high back booster, 8 year old and 11 year old sit on the regular seat.

Known this for a few years. Reason my 3rd was in a car seat rear facing till a little over two years old and my oldest is still in a booster seat.
