I said she could be there but she ending up having to go with her mom out of state to visit a sick relative. I think it is 100% the laboring women's choice for who gets to be in the room.

Nope, she's not welcome to even visit. DH agrees.

I did. Well i guess my boyfriends mom isn't technically my mother-in-law since we aren't married but she calls me her daughter-in-law. My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 1/2 years.

This. We allow her occasional visits.

Nope. I just wanted DH to be there but she kept trying to sneak in. And now she barely sees DS because of I refuse to let her in.

I am pretty sure I would say no, but I don't know for sure. Idk who will be with me or who will have my children when I go into labor. My husband will be away at that time, won't be back until at least a month after the baby's born.

Nope. I haven't even allowed my mom to be in the room. Just DH and hospital staff. All family is more than welcome to visit once we've moved to the recovery room.
