My daughter is 9 months old and has a WONDERFUL babysitter. She watched her for me while I went to school, but because of scheduling issues, I had to stop going for a while and wait until the courses I need started again. DD hasn't been babysat by her since.
She's at the stage where when I walk away, it's instant heart break (for her AND me). I begin school again in about a week. I will be taking her to the babysitters starting Monday, so we have time to ease her in. How can we do this with the least tears possible? My mother told me to just drop her off and ignore her crying when I walk off...sounds WAY too harsh for a nine month old.
