It says in the advice section to cook fruits n veggies except avocados n bananas; why cook fresh fruits? I don't understand? I gave my baby fresh pear purée and she took it just fine. Then I read that post and now I'm thinking if I did any wrong to my baby:-///

I'm not cooking and making puree's out of anything.  My baby will get what we eat as we eat it.

I just gave it whole (well diced up) into safe pieces. My kids ahve never had pureed foods. lol I did BLW....even before it was a thing to do, my oldest is 11 yrs old and she ate whatever I ate from 4 months an up.

I have heard to cook them because possible bacteria in the fruit/veggies. It's possible for bad bacteria to build up and make them sick. Better to be safe than sorry.
