I know he's too young for Ibuprofen or Tylenol. He's always fussy I can tell he's in pain :(

I used Tylenol at that age if my daughter was incredible fussy which was only once. But I like the baby orajel naturals or frozen teething toys. I bought one of those amber necklaces but she didn't like it.

I give my son both of those things and he is 4 months old. You can but you go based on weight. My pediatrican gave me a chart for it. For infant tylenol, if they are 6-11 pounds, you give them 1.25 ml. If they are 12-17 pounds, you give them 2.5 ml. If they are 18-23, it's 3.75 ml, and if 24-35 pounds, it's 5 ml. For concentrated motrin infant drops, if they are 12-17 pounds, you give them 1.25 ml and if they are 18-23 pounds, it's 1.875 ml. Infant advil is the same dosing as motrin. Also, I've heard many good things about amber teething necklaces. A good website to learn about them and buy is hazelaid.com

This, also try freezing some wet wash cloths, or hylands teething tablets.

I am NOT recommending this, but people used to rub some whiskey on baby's gums to numb them,  Several generations of my family did that.

With my kids, besides Tylenol, I used to wrap a wash cloth around an ice cube and let them chew on it and sometimes just gently massage the gums with my fingers.

With my first baby, I took him to the doctor, too, because he always got an ear infection when he was teething.
