We live in Florida and went up to New York in May. Four hours to the train station, 18 hours on the train then another seven hours to New York from the train station in Virginia. Then backwards to come home:)

drove from Ohio/Mi line to Columbus, Ga., just south of Atlanta to see my oldest son graduate from basic training. About 12 hours there and 15 hours back. He was just under 2 months old and did great!

At ten days old my oldest did 24 hours in the car to visit my family.
At six weeks old my third did 24 hours in the car, for a two week trip to Disney.
We are travelers, my kids are very used to 12/24 hours in the car. Heck, they have driven coast to coast twice.
