My son, he'll be 2 in april, cries almost every single day when I bring him home after I get off work. my mom says he's bored. What I don't understand is he starts to cry literally when we walk in the door and doesn't stop until he goes to bed. He doesn't eat a whole lot during the evening no matter what we offer him. What am I doing wrong?

I don't think he'd refuse to eat if he was just bored. Have there been any changes at home? Either to the house itself or to some part of your usual routine?

Maybe he's being overstimulated at daycare.

Well he recently started going everyday because I started working at the daycare. But that's about the only change

It sounds like he is overtired.

 He could be over tired

Hmm, that sounds like pretty odd, unusual behaviour.

That was my thought, too. Also, if he isn't napping, that could make him more easy to get overwhelmed.
