Best formula to give a breastfed baby?

I want to give my baby formula at night. Which would be best?

Most will say none :) my older child's pedi told us to supplement with soy, but that was 10 years ago. There are formulas for supplementation that have a higher vitamin d content you could use. I don't think it will matter. If you need a break can you give pumped milk? But technically you should pump every missed feeding or your supply could drop. Good luck with whatever you decide :)

I wouldn't give any if you have been ebf and baby is doing good. If baby is given a bottle your supply will dip.

I really hate breastfeeding at night, I never get enough sleep and I hate pumping

They have supplement kinds that may be good options. My baby is sensitive so uses gerber gentle.

My son gains well but its at night like u don't get enough sleep

I feel you!! I hate pumping too!! I want to cry!!! I used the enfamil for supplementation - we were told that as long as baby got any formula then you don't have to give the vitamin drops so there's a plus :) hope you get some sleep!!

Id say just pump. Night nursing is my favorite. Its peaceful. Baby goes back to sleep nursing and I do 2
