DD 5 months currently cosleeps.  When we move to transition her into her crib, I want to have white noise in her room to help her sleep.  Right now we sleep with a fan in our room.  What have other mom's used to create this white noise?

I usually use white noise for my babies. We have several kids and it helps them from being awakened by the others.

What do you use to make the white noise?

We have an app called Sleepmaker on an old iPhone that we use in his room. He's slept in a bassinet in our room until just this past week, and as we've had the same app playing all night in our room (I can't fall asleep without it), we figured it would be a better transition for him. So far so good!

They also make some toys (CloudB Sleep Sheep was one that we registered for but never ended up getting) that play white noise, but they don't go all night as far as I know. I set the app timer for 10 hours... Not that we get that, but at least I know it will go all night.

DS has a CloudB Gentle Giraffe, but didn't care for it much. We started running a humidifier on low and it seems to help him sleep better.

just a box fan or the bathroom fan (since it is bedroom adjacent)
