If you don't have a walking baby yet, are you excited about the idea of walking or does it make you feel sad to think of them gaining independence from you?

My son was 14 months. My daughter is only 3 weeks old, it doesn't make me sad to think about but she is so tiny we've got a ways away!

My first was 12 months 1 week old. And toss one is 6.5 months and she can wait a bit, I'm in no hurry :-)

My youngest took her first steps at 16 months. She started cruising at 9 months so I thought she would be an early walker but I was wrong. My other daughter was 14 month's. My boys were 11 months and 12 months

I was never in a hurry either : ) My kid's were not early walkers and I'm glad. I got to enjoy the crawling phase, lol

My oldest son was almost 10 months. My daughter was 15 1/2 months. My youngest is 15 1/2 months now. He is just starting to take a few steps at a time but he is very cautious. He will only try to walk on hard floors and only if he is touching me (not holding on though). He refuses to walk on carpeted floors at all.

My son was 16 months when he started walking. My daughter is 16 months old right now and still not walking. She can take a few steps here and there. But can't walk walk just yet. She almost there tho. Maybe another few weeks.

My oldest was 10 months, second baby was a couple weeks before her first birthday. Third is only four months so no walking. She is good about scooting around on the floor though. Not crawling and she rolled over once but she can move lol

My little one started crawling a 5 months and pulling up at 6 1/2 months she started walking with push toys at 8 months. She took her first steps at 10 months but now at 13.months old she still will only take a few steps. It's so odd to me but I guess She will start actually walking when she wants to.
