How dirty and cold my house was, how there was never any food, and the smell of my mom smoking all day with the windows closed

Playing with my brother with our toys. When we were young, we sometimes got a long.

I'm sorry : / My husband grew up in a smoking home as well and it was rarely cleaned. He said his sister started cleaning the house when she was 8 and doing all the laundry. He said the windows were always closed.
