“So, I guess we are who we are for alot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.”

Dd was an emergency c section because her heart rate was dropping and her head was pushed against my pelvic bone and she wasn't moving any further.

51.5 hours and ended in a c-section. Thank god. I was over it! I never made it past 5cm.

Medically necessary. The only 2 times, I went into labor, my labor was very short because I had to be rushed for a c-section.

I had a scheduled induction (due to a pre existing medical condition) and my doctor let me labor for 12 hours before doing a c section. Mine was medically necessary and I also didn't progress past 4/5 cm.
