Babies Babies

Hey everyone! I am a first time mom, and my daughter is now 8 1/2 months old. She is starting to refuse her bottles and I don't no what to do. Do any of you have suggestions on what to do?

Google "baby-led solids". She doesn't need purees or spoon feeding. After nursing or bottle offer pieces of whatever you're having. It doesn't have to be every meal or even every day at this point. Food before one is just for fun.

This!

I would go with a sippy cup then. She should be nursing or getting a bottle BEFORE any solids though.

Quoting SavannahPoulin: Thanks everyone for the suggestions!! I believe her bottle will be taken away for good then.

switch her to a cup.  If she will not take the formula or breast milk from a cup, talk to her pediatrician.  What kind of food is she eating?  My youngest was an early and voracious eater, and had little interest in a bottle after about 8 months... she wanted pork roast...
