My dd will be 5 weeks tomorrow. She is still sleeping in a bassinet in mine and my husband's room. At what point did you move your children to their own room in a crib?

Me?  My kids sleep in my bed until 4-5 months, then a pack n play in my room until they are sleeping through the night consistently.  Usually somewhere around 12-18 months, and then we move to them to their own room (well room with a sibling at this point).

It is recomended that babies room in with their parents until they're a year old. It's supposed to help prevent SIDS.

My youngest went into a toddler bed in my room at two months old.

I always used a bassinet or had them with me.

My son is due the end of October and will be in our room until after the holidays. His room is also the guest room and we have family coming so we figured that we would just wait tell after then to move him into his room.
