It can happen almost anytime, babies can be born with teeth.

It is possibly to stay at any time but baby being fussy and wanting to nurse all the time is totally normal. It could be a growth spurt.

At that age, a baltic amber teething necklace is probably your safest bet as far as pain management. I hope he feels better soon!

He is also in the first major growth spurt, and constant nursing is normal. There have been babies born with teeth, so teething is definitely possible. You may also want to check him for lip and tongue ties. There is an excellent section on ties in the resources sticky on the Breastfeeding Moms group. Come join us! :-)

Sounds more like the dreaded 3 week growth spurt. It's a hard one. It should be over in a few days.

It's normal, babies can even be born with teeth. But three weeks is usually a very normal growth spurt time where babies spend less time sleeping and more time fussing and nursing. It may just be that.

It sounds like a growth spurt but teething is certainly possible. I see this was posted on Saturday, how is baby doing today?

It doesn't sound like teeth at all, it sounds like the 3 week growth spurt.
