What could this be?

My DS is 14 months old. For the past few nights he wakes up and fusses and rubs his nose like crazy. He still nurses at night and I'll nurse him and he falls back asleep but I don't understand the nose rubbing. He hasn't been sick at all but could it be a sinus infection? He's also cutting two top molars but would he rub his nose?

It could have to do with teeth but my when my daughter was 14 months she was a nose rubber and it was normally because she was fighting sleep! lol

Maybe his nose itches.  Nothing else is off I wouldn't worry about it.

Because his nervous system is still not fully developed, it could be where he feels the teething pain, but most likely his nose just itches.

Is your son feeling better?

It could be teething. It could be allergies too. There's quite a few things in a bedroom that could cause allergies at night.

It could be the teeth. Does he sound congested?
