What is the best thing to use for constipation in a 5 month old? She is on soy formula with no solids. Called the nurse line and they said to try a juice like apple.

Sounds like constipation.  I am not sure what you should do. I have no experience with constipation or formula.  Maybe change the formula?

Grape juice has been a great constipation reliever for all of our kids.

Soy is well known to cause constipation issues, among other things. If there's any way you can change formulas I'd start there. Otherwise, a small amount of juice may help.
