*bonk* is a form of affection.

Ds (15 months) likes to bang his head on things. The wall, the couch, his crib, the washer, you get the idea. We think it's because it makes a cool sound. Lately, he's been bonking his head on ours. It started as a pretty hard banging, but now he's gentle about it. He gets a bit cuddly (for him. Which usually means sitting squashed up next to us. He doesn't like being in our lap or held much.) then he stands up and taps his head against ours a few times, smiling and giggling. He's also started baby kissing (you know the one, mouth open and pressed against your cheek) but he does it on our arms, legs and toes as well as our cheeks. Lol!

What do your babies do to show affection?

DD1 gives hugs and kisses.  Pretty basic and simple.

My baby is almost 10 months old. She like to slap me in the face lol. She does it when she gets excited and wants to show affection quickly. She also will dive into me and snuggle saying "aww". She gives lots of kisses as well, and she will roll over until she is literally on top of me and just stay there.

Mina is 4 months old and she gives me a "tiss." I kiss her cheeks back and forth and then she gives me one. I've done this since birth and she knows what's going to happen when I say tiss.
