How long PP did it take for your hormones to feel back in balance after your baby?

I'm almost 6 weeks in and feel out of my mind still with emotions, weird body stuff, etc. I'm not sure what to expect and when I should mention to my doctor that I still feel this way.

I'm only 2 weeks pp and I have good and bad days. I'm dealing with the emotional stress of having to recover from a c-section that wasn't planned but dd turned breech with no way of turning back down.

I was in labor since 35 weeks and had my dr put me on Zoloft then and that has helped tremendously

I had pp with my first and it lasted months. Better to talk to your doctor sooner rather than later.

With my first it took several months. With my second and third I was back to normal, mentally and physically, within maybe three weeks? Four at the most.

PPD can last for many months. Breastfeeding helps by making the hormonal shift more gradual. Fatigue plays a huge part, as well as nutrition.
