Organic Formula??

a friend of mine is interested in using an organic formula

I have heard negative things about similac organic (using sucrose instead of lactose)

I think Earth's best makes one, but I don't know anything about it

any suggestions? good or bad

From everything I've read, the best option, if you're going to formula feed, is Baby's Only organic formula.  They use a different source for extracting the DHA and ARA, and don't have to treat it with all the harmful checmicals that traditional extraction does.  They have milk based, soy based and lactose free.  I would definitely look into that brand, as even Earth's Best uses DHA & ARA from algae, thus treating it with acid, hexane and bleach.

I had my son on the Similac Organic for a while and he did okay on it. I didn't try Earth's Best so I'm not sure how that one is but like I said I had my son on it for a few months when he was born because of his reflux and it worked fine.
