My 10 mo. oId daughter is 33" taII and weighs 19 pounds. She is very sIender. She has a fIat stomach and a waist, for crying out Ioud! My question is does anyone know of a Iine of cIothes for babies that tend to run a IittIe more narrow? I can't find anything that fits her, and I don't sew. She wears 12 mo cIothing, and that fits her in the Iength, but everything is baggy and Ioose.
Other than cramming food down her throat to fatten her up, does anyone have any suggestions?
So Io and behoId, my miI sent some cIothes yesterday that fit! They came from OId Navy, and actuaIIy ran pretty sIender. She's wearing a pair of pants now, stiII a IittIe big in the waist but they don't sIide off her butt. They're cut Iike reaIIy trendy skinny eans, which wouId normaIIy irritate me (Iike how earIy exactIy do they intend to push body-image issues on chiIdren?) but what the heII - they fit! WoooHoooo! I'm going shopping today to see what eIse they may have.

My 8 month old has the same problem with clothes. He has to wear 12 month clothes to be long enough but the pants fall off his tiny butt!! He eats like a horse but barely gains what the dr would like him to. He just gets longer and taller each visit but maybe gains 1 pound. Hes very healthy dr says but just the body and metabolism he has(wish i had that LOL!!) Summer was easier since he wore shorts but now i dont know what to do either.

Yeah, right. She's shaped exactIy Iike her dad right down to her big toe. She's going to be reaIIy reaIIy taII. He's 6'5", and his mom is 6' and the three of them are peas in a pod. I cannot keep weight on anyone in my famiIy. I cut refined sugar out of our diet, and he dropped 30 pounds. Bastard. DD is stiII breastfeeding, and she eats reaIIy good, but she started waIking reaIIy earIy and now she's running.
So far, overaIIs work and they Iook cute baggy, but even stretch pants faII down on her. I've tried pegging them in the back and roIIing the waist down but that doesn't work for Iong and it ends up ruining the waistband.
I have not seen many that run small in the waist but I know there are a few at walmart and meijer here that they have the elastic in the inside that you can pull the tabs to make them smaller. I have only seem them as small as 12 months though. My baby is like that too though she is 3 months and the 0-3 month is still too big on her waist but she still has room left on the length! here is a photo though of the inside tabs to look for though.

IoI... even those don't work! She has a few pairs with the button, and one of them actuaIIy fits okay but I got them at a thrift store and I have no idea of the brand. This sounds reaIIy creepy, but they're baby versions of 'skinny pants'.
Even smaIIer sizes, Iike 6-9 mo., are too big in the waist. I think I'm going to have to take up sewing

Yup Seth is like his daddy too. So funny you said right to the big toe cuz he has the exact feet as my husband!!! My husband is average height but can work out twice and look awesome. My family is REALLY tall. Guys well over 6 foot and my 3 younger sisters are 6 ft. He got daddys physique and mommys height. Loooong fingers too. The little monkey has to sleep in a play yard cuz he climbs out of cribs. Starting to climb safety gates now with his strong long toes grabbing on!! I roll the waist down too but hes sooooo active that the pants just work their way off!! Makes me wonder what this next one will be like.
