OH MY SON JUST GOT OVER THIS!!!!

You are in a rough patch with your beautiful baby! No, babies do not cry just for fun...but that does not mean something is wrong with them. When we cry or hearing crying..we know that something is wrong with us or with the person crying. NOT true when it comes to infants. You of course need to have your Peditrician check your baby out, Babies only communication with the outside world and with themselves is by crying. (My doctor likened it to when you think through things in your mind and you find that you are talking to yourself). It looks, and sounds terrible and can run havoc with your nerves, your sleep, your wake, everything. The important thing with her crying is to remember (once checked out by the peds) that nothing is wrong with her. She needs to cry for her own reasons. Make sure she is safe, kiss and cuddle her, give her mylicon (crying causes gas in the belly from gulping) put her in crib and let her cry for as long as you can stand it, while trying to focus on other things (easier said then done!)....GET BREAKS!! Go outside the house when you have a chance and remember this will pass, when my baby hit six weeks it started to go down hill and got so much better. Your baby is almost there!

GOOD LUCK!!! Hang in there!

my child when she was that young would wake up the same time every night. my mom said when i was a baby i would wake up at 2am every day for like a year. and apparently my MIL also told my that my DH used to do the same thing. they grow out of it but it does take time. but if you are worried there is something wrong with her i would get her checkout just mention it to the doctor

Yep my LO would start at 5:30pm and would stop around 6:30pm.  He would just cry and cry at the same time every night.  I don't know why but my Dr said it was normal they are just clearing out their lungs.
