How much tylenol should you give a 6 week old, weighing about 11 lbs?

I was told by my doctor to not give tylenol or motrin until after she was two months. Still, I waited til she was about four months to give it to her.

I'm a single, 18 year old, christian, breastfeeding, baby-wearing, co-sleeping, cloth-diapering, vax-delaying, stay-at-home, non-cry-it-out mama to my little miss Anabelle Mae, and I'm so proud of it!

My daughter's pediatrician told me not to give her tylenol before she's 2 months old...I'm sure other doctor's say different though...don't know..so here's a bump!

You know those baby med. cyringes?  I would use 3/4 of one of those only once a day.  Just squirt it in there mouths while you hold their chin up and down it goes and they are good for awhile. I did call and ask a nurse about this and she said it was fine, but every child is different. I would call your doctor or talk to a nurse in your doctor's office about this though.  :)

I wouldn't, either. What's wrong with your newborn that you're considering giving Tylenol?

Ask the pedi.  I wouldn't give him/her anything without discssing it with the doctor and getting specific dosing instructions.

I would call your baby's doctor and ask a nurse.  They may recommend something else instead of the tylenol.
