Not sure what's the norm but my 18 1/2 month old is going through it. It was never this bad with my oldest son. My little guy cant sleep well, has fevers, and is just plain out cranky.

I'm not sure if there's specific age they come in. My daughter is 19 months and three molars have come in but she hasn't had a fever or trouble sleeping.

Hi, I thought I would just let you know that my daughter is 15 months and has 4 molars.... her top and bottom front teeth and thats it! lol. I was shocked when hers came in also, but she didnt get teeth till, well I believe around 12 months or so. I think each baby is different, and has their own time line!

I don't know what the average age is but my daughter is 16 months and three days old and has one that is already in and  three have been trying to come in for about 3-4 weeks.

Looks like his 2 year molars are coming in, which can start as early as 18 months. Painful for him, but totally normal.
